I actually asked for an extra jar of this for Christmas -- that's how much I love it!! It's such a great afternoon snack, and I love the flavor of the honey pecan. The texture is incredible, you can really tell it's made by hand. Other nut butters are either too gloopy or impossible to stir. But Nielsen's is the perfect soft but firm consistency, and it tastes so good a can never lasts more than 24 hours in my household!

Very tasty. My wife had baked a cream cheese pound cake so I tried the pecan butter as a spread on top of a slice. The following day I spread it on my pancakes. AWESOME
My new favorite snack or breakfast is a sliced honeycrisp apple with a spoonful or two of original pecan butter. It is so satisfying and yummy. I really like how nicely it stirs up, unlike so many natural peanut butters that are a dry paste under a layer of oil that you have to incorporate. A quick, easy stir, and it’s ready to eat. I’m also impressed with the perfect flavor balance of the pecans and salt.

This is my go to nut butter now. I add it to my morning oatmeal which takes it from mediocre to amazing. Anytime I need a quick dessert for my sweet tooth I just get a tablespoon with a sprinkle of chocolate chips over a banana. This stuff is amazing! And this flavor is SO good. Not sure how I got by without it. It’s really that good.

Does it need to be stirred?
Yes. And really well. Don't pour off that beautiful oil at the top! It's pure pecan oil that is rich in omegas which are great for brain power! Because our product is made with just a few ingredients, the nut oil tends to seperate and it needs to remixed.
How long can it last?
On the shelf about a year, once opened a couple of months refrigerated. But I doubt it will last that long on your shelf. And once opened, well, good luck trying to make it stretch!
Is it peanut free?
Yes! Our product is made from tree nuts (pecans) and is made on equipment that never even smells a peanut
How much sugar is in your product?
None whatsover. Pecans have a natural sweetness to them, but some of our products are sweetened with honey: a gift from nature.
How do you use it?
Nielsen Pecan Butter can be used for pancakes, waffles, french toast, oatmeal, smoothies, yoghurt parfaits, or, my favorite way, right off the spoon. Let us know how you use it!
Where are your pecans from?
We grow our own pecans in the northern part of the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Chihuahua is the top pecan prodcucing state in the country and the pecans from our area are recognized for their exceptionally rich flavor. More importantly, our small family farm is commited to practicing regenerative agriculture and we're taking steps to becoming 100% organic.
